I spent most of the day visiting the same sessions as Paul Gielens did. We spent lunch together and just kept talking right till the party. Boy, did I have a blast exchanging ideas with Paul. The guy is way ahead of me (and most of the Dutch developers) on architecture and using design methodologies and patterns. He made me realize I had made the right decision to do more in the “real world” and move away from just training people. Time to learn more of that.
Side note: Paul can speed-read :o, so that is how he gets his input so quickly (he is only 27 years of age and already a senior-consultant).
Well, here’s a big thank-you, Paul, for the great company, even though chances are I will meet you again tomorrow.
